Walk by Bus – Exceat to Alfriston Village
25 September, 2019 @ 9:00 am – 2:30 pm
Discover the beauty and tranquillity of the South Downs National Park and the South Downs Way National Trail. The route starts at Seven Sisters Country Park and takes you through Friston Forest and the pretty villages of Westdean and Litlington before meandering along the banks of the Cuckmere River in to Alfriston.
Stunning views over the Cuckmere Haven and the White Horse chalk figure carved into the hillside below High and Over are the highlights of this walk. In the spring and summer the South Downs air is alive with the song of skylarks and buzzards can often be seen cruising on the thermals too.
