Treasure Hunt for Families

This family friendly treasure hunt will take place mostly along Eastbourne’s beautiful promenade. It will include questions and activities on a range of topics that will appeal to children of all ages. There will be goody bags for the winners.
The Children will need to use their eyes to answer the questions. They will also be asked to undertake short tasks and take photos of themselves as proof (not for publication)
Approximate Distance: 2 Miles
Starting Point: The Redoubt Fortress, Royal Parade, Eastbourne. Please register your child/children with the organisers between 1:30pm – 2pm to receive the written instructions.
Finishing Point: The Redoubt Fortress, Royal Parade, Eastbourne. Completed question sheets should be returned to the organisers by 5pm. Winners will be contacted by telephone or email during the following week.
Walk Grading: Easy – Less than 2 miles with no steep ascent/descent
Maximum number of walkers: 30
Priced at £1 per child, payable upon arrival
Paid parking is available next to the Redoubt Fortress. Additional paid parking at Fisherman’s Green. Roads nearby off of Royal Parade are free of charge but with limited spaces.
Accessible by bus on the number 99 from the Town Centre (Cornfield Road) or from the East.
