The 9th Green, A Micro Adventure
24 September, 2019 @ 11:00 am – 12:30 pm
There’s a lot more to The 9th Green on the Eastbourne Downland Golf Course than meets the eye.
A wide horizon, ancient landscape, unpredictable weather, grasses mown and wild, a million ants,
golfers, walkers, dogs on leads, the South Downs Way.
Join Antonia Lucas, Walk Fest co-ordinator and Tim Squire, South Downs National Park Ranger on this Micro Adventure guaranteed to stimulate the senses.
This event, commissioned for the 2019 Walk Fest, takes you onto the South Downs Way above Eastbourne. You’ll hear different sounds carried by the wind and experience Chalk Downland that inspired William Blake’s “And did those feet in ancient time, Walk upon England’s mountains green.”
