Eastbourne Promenade Walk

A gentle stroll along Eastbourne’s upper and lower promenades with frequent stops to hear about how the resort developed, including the Pier, the Wish Tower and the Bandstand, plus many of the famous people who have visited the town and influenced this “Empress of Watering Places”

Approximate Distance: 2 Miles

Starting Point: Outside the Lifeboat Museum, Grand Parade, Eastbourne

Finishing Point: On the Western Lawns, opposite the Grand Hotel, BN21 4EH

Walk Grading: Easy – Less than 2 miles with no steep ascent/descent

Maximum number of walkers: 20

Donations welcome to the RNLI at the end of the walk

Parking is available along Grand Parade, subject to charges

The closest bus will stop at the Pier (99 from town centre or from the East)

There is a Cafe on route
